I am an FAA licensed airframe and powerplant
technician and have been working for Icelandair for the last 30 years. I was stationed in
Luxembourg for the first 2 years working for Icelandic Airlines ( Loftleidir ) which
merged with Icelandair in 1973. Since then I have mostly been working in Iceland.
I had a 3 year stint as a flight engineer on DC-8's, and have
periodically worked short stints in other countries such as Sweden, Saudi Arabia,
Indonesia, Nigeria, Algeria, and Libya.
My hobbies are: Hunting, fishing and computers. I have done almost all
of my hunting in Iceland where most hunting is bird hunting and the game is goose hunting,
ptarmigan hunting, and duck hunting, I have also done some seal hunting and went reindeer
hunting the fall of 1998 for the first time.
